Gunner News Gunner celebrated Independence Day 2005 in grand style. At the Sarnia Kennel Club shows in Mooretown, Ontario, Gunner was awarded Winner's Dog on July 1st and Best of Winners on July 4th. These wins gave Gunner enough points to complete his Canadian Kennel Club show championship. Gunner was handled to his championship by Rebecca McAuley. Congratulations Gunner and Rebecca! Gunner has his OFA hip, cardiac and elbow certifications as well as his CERF eye certification. He is available for stud to approved females.

Rock
We are proud to announce that we have a new boy, Chrys-Haefen Rocket Man, call name Rock. Rock comes to us from Chrys-Haefen Kennels in Scotland, Ontario. Thank you Jennifer McAuley.
On December 8, 2006, Rock was awarded Best Novice Puppy in Specialty at the United Retriever Club Specialty in Kalamazoo, MI. We're looking forward to much success with this boy.
On February 16 -19, 2007, Rock was at the Ontario Breeders Association shows in Markham, Ontario. Rock was awarded first all four days in the Male Puppy Class and was selected Best Golden Puppy two of the four days. Rock was handled by Jennifer and Rebecca McAuley.
At the Canadian Kennel Club Charity Event in Tilsonburg, Ontario on March 10 and 11, Rock was awarded first in the Senior Puppy Class and was selected Best Golden Puppy both days.
At the Nickel District Kennel Club Shows 3/29 - 4/1, Rock placed first in his class four times earning Reserve Winners Dog twice and Winners Dog/Best of Winners (beating Starr) on the 31st for his first four CKC championship points. Way to go Rock and Rebecca McAuley!
Rock was shown by his owner at the Sault Kennel Club shows in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario on May 19 and 20, 2007. Over four shows in two days Rock was named Best Puppy in Group twice, Reserve Winners Dog twice, and Best of Winners once. Rock showed excellent the entire weekend.
Once again the Sarnia Kennel Club shows were good to us. On July 6, 2007, Rock went Winners Dog and Best of Breed for three points, completing his Canadian Kennel Club show championship. Rock was handled by Rebecca McAuley. Congratulations Rock and Rebecca!
